"One Egg's Runaway" is a platform fundraising activity initiated by Shanghai United Foundation in 2011 to raise funds for a number of non-governmental public welfare projects in the field of children. Participants are required to walk 50km in 12 hours and raise funds from a network of acquaintances in a creative way, completing or even breaking the set fundraising goals and achieving personal challenges. "One Egg's Runaway" hopes to bring the public a rich and happy public welfare experience, so that public welfare stops at donations. From raising an egg for children in mountainous areas to supporting 82 public welfare projects from 63 public welfare organizations in 18 provinces across the country, more than 190,000 children have benefited.

"One Egg's Runaway" originated from a spring outing bet made by the United Persuasion team, "If I successfully challenge the 50-kilometer hike, would you be willing to donate money to the children in the poor mountainous areas so that they can eat an egg every day?" The gamble received an unexpectedly enthusiastic response, and nearly 90,000 eggs were raised through Weibo and other means to support the "One Egg" project. In October 2011, the United Persuasion officially launched the "One Egg Runaway" campaign, and in 2012, it developed into a platform-based fundraising activity, which not only supports the egg project, but also raises funds for projects in the four areas of children's nutrition and health, education development, safety protection, and social integration. The rampage of an egg has developed from a spontaneous public welfare action to a fundraising activity with the participation of 10,000 people, witnessing the growth of non-governmental forces in the field of public welfare, and not forgetting the original intention.

The funds raised by One Egg Runaway are used to fund public welfare service organizations and projects in the field of children, and are committed to ensuring the safe growth and equal development of children aged 0-18. The project covers four directions: nutrition and health, education development, safety protection, and social integration. More than 20,000 rural children from Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan eat one egg a day during school. More than 80,000 children have benefited from funding for health care programs and health programs for boarding students, and hygiene habits and health have improved. In Gansu, Shaanxi, Guizhou and other places, more than 170,000 children and de facto orphans have been evacuated to schools, and the teaching, reading and learning environment has been improved. More than 60,000 schoolchildren in remote areas, girls from ethnic minorities and migrant children in urban areas have received safety protection education and sex education to avoid falling into security difficulties. More than 4,000 children in Xinjiang, Shanghai, Shaanxi and other places have been able to carry out social integration projects for left-behind children, migrant children and children with disabilities, so that every child can grow up safely and develop equally.

In the early morning of May 11, 2019, the large-scale public welfare activity of "One Egg's Runaway" was held in Guangming Shendi Ecological Park, Pudong New Area, to HBC-Shipyard 1862. The public welfare activists gathered in Pudong early in the morning and had a walk-and-go.

At six o'clock in the morning, the public welfare activists entered the Shendi Ecological Park one after another to prepare for the event
